Remodelling Connor’s approach to marketing

In early 2020, Connor had the internal challenge of remodelling its marketing department. Seeking a replacement for the company’s marketing director who had moved on to a new role, Connor struggled to identify a qualified replacement who could truly understand their business, their buyers and the market in which they operated.

WHAT WE DID

Instead of appointing a permanent successor, STM were appointed as an outsourced marketing function, with one of our managing partners joining the company’s leadership team. Upon being engaged, we:

THE IMPACT

In the first year of being engaged by Connor, we:

  • Reduced unnecessary marketing spend.
  • Increased website traffic by 26%
  • Increased organic website traffic by 19%
  • Increased website traffic via social media activities by 287%
  • and most importantly, increased the number of monthly inbound leads by 36%.
At one point in Connor, we had 3 full time marketers and two interns; our output now with STM is far higher. They have brought real clarity to our marketing, which has meant we are now maximising every pound of our marketing budget.
